A. O. Succession Planning and Organizational Performance: Evidence from a Manufacturing Organization in Nigeria

The absence of a succession planning policy has detrimental influence on the functioning organization. Organizational performance was assessed as part research at Perfetti Ban Mettelle Nigeria Limited Agbara, Ogun State. study used descriptive survey design, with population 1,392 and sample size (135) determined using Krejie Morgan formula. State employees were given 135 questionnaires; those, 91 found to be usable by researchers. For purpose determining whether mentoring talent retention improves an organization's performance, three hypotheses tested ordinary least square method, S.P.S.S version 23. 3.1 percent, 1.1 0.5 percent due findings study. A total presented. is positively influenced all indicators identified in study, according research. It suggested, among other things, that companies implement strategies or programs encourage their best dedicate themselves company's objectives.
